NWDA Sky Starter Pack - your ideal collection of realistic standard skies
Whether you are new to Terragen 2, or an advanced professional: you know all too well that the 3 built-in cloud types in TG2 are merely a starting point for creating a really good looking, convincing and realistic sky for your Terrragen 2 scene. It starts with figuring out the intrinsic details of the available cloud fractal flavours, goes on to messing with the correct lighting and optimizations of the atmosphere.

If you are like us, you are probably happy with the versatility and flexibility of TG2's open-ended node network, but sometimes you really just want to choose a well balanced preset for the sky, atmosphere and lighting that fits your scene.
Look no further ;-)
The NWDA Sky Starter Pack gives you exactly that. Six fine balanced and detailed skies for you to choose from, that should fit for many scenarios right out of the box, or with minimal adjustments for the specific requirements of your scene.
All six skies come with pre-defined atmosphere, cloud, lighting and render camera settings. Please read on to see example renders of the NWDA Sky Starter Pack.

Most of these skies render relatively fast, especially when considering their detail and realism. The "Rain Sky Dark" being the one exception to that, as it's is optimized for a full frontal daylight sun.
The node networks of all of the presets in the NWDA Sky Starter Pack are all kept small, so that they are easy to comprehend and adjust, and as a side effect provide low render times whitout compromising quality.
